The conference schedule for Aurora Summit 23 is taking shape below. Any updates to the schedule will be posted here. Activities and times may be subject to change.

AS23 Photography Bootcamp
9am-5pm, Friday, November 3

Breakfast on your own

9 am – Noon: Aurora Photography 101
Our hands-on photography clinic will show you the Aurora Photograpy 101. You will learn all about the gear, lenses, setup, and techniques used for Aurora Photography. You’ll also learn about common problems and solutions photographers run into.

Noon – 2pm: Break for lunch (included)

2pm – 5pm: Image Editing 101
Bring your laptop computer to learn how to edit your aurora photos in Lightroom and Photoshop with a brief introduction to time-lapse photography. You’ll learn how to work with RAW images and edit for saturation, exposure and noise, among other things.

5pm: Official conference program begins, Dinner at 7pm (included)

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3

4:15pm: Aurora Chasers Atlas! Find Travel Companions from Your Region

4:30 PM • “A Journey of Discovery with CK Nights” featuring Chandresh Kedhambadi — Experiences chasing the Northern Lights in Western Canada, including the science behind the Aurora, safety aspects of Aurora Chasing, adding more dimension to Aurora photography, and citizen science with a shout-out to STEVE (Full Group Session)
